Privacy Rights....

Daniel Solove from GWU Law school has a GREAT essay on why we should have problems with the nothing to hide argument. You know what I'm talking about....domestic spying, wiretapping, right down to the Walmart "exiter" who wants to check your recept. Most of us would just say "I've got nothing to hide" and move on. I have to agree with Solove that the deepest flaw in this theory is that privacy is only implied while doing something wrong and you should assume no manner of privacy is needed when one is doing something right.....food for thought, no?
